Hello folks! We’ ve got some news…
I may have been disappointed with the things that the world and the Greeks believe, support and vote, but I should be grateful for the trip and the elections that took place at worldvespa the last few days, especially for the results.
Your choice people was clear! Latin America “dagoto” (is the winner) – 31.2% – with a difference of 9.6 points from the second option “sell my scooter and go to America” and 11.2 points from the third “go to Asia through East Africa”! “Stay in South Africa” took 12% (4th place) and “return to Greece” 10.4% (5th place).
So since I respect your choice people of Greece (and not only) and since I respect my scooter that accompanies me for many years now and was more than reliable this first year of the trip, I follow your command people and I continue this unique project! The Vespa is already closed and partially disassembled inside the warehouse of the company which is gonna send it by air in Buenos Aires. The only things I have to do now is to wait for the crate to be done, wait for its final dimensions and final cost, pay and fly to Argentina (I’ m flying January 08) !!!
PS – For those you’ve got someone in Buenos Aires (someone working in the customs office preferably), please contact them and ask for some tips as for the clearance of the motorcycle. The last days I read and hear some terrible stories that I don’t know whether to believe them or no! Those who won’t follow the above will automatically be deleted from my friends list on facebook and they will be banned for life ? Merry Christmas!
